A One Man Team.”

Who, What, When, Where and Why

Having both a grandfather and father who were avid woodworkers, I developed an affinity early in life for creating with wood.  After working in the construction trades and custom cabinet shops for 13 years,  Artisan Woodwork was started in 2004 as a resource for the rapidly growing areas surrounding Seattle, including Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap Peninsula.  Having also earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Fine Art from Colorado University, I developed a keen eye for aesthetic detail and design.

Philosophy of approach

It’s my accepted challenge to adapt to the specific needs of any given project.  Whether that entails incorporating into a large crew on a job site in a team setting, or putting the final touches on someone else's  unfinished weekend home improvement task.  It’s my goal to accommodate all scenarios.  Additional traits that set my work apart are dependability, punctuality, cleanliness (my wife calls me the "tidy monster!"), and a positive outlook.
A person's home is their intimate environment.  Making it more beautiful in form and function is my specialty.
